The fishing spot at La Tancada lagoon is managed by the Sant Pere Fishermen’s Guild, which preserves the traditional fishing methods that have been practised for over 400 years.

The Delta’s lagoons are renowned for their abundance of nutrients resulting from the mixture of freshwater from the river and saltwater from the sea. This results in a diverse community of fish species, making fishing a mainstay economic activity in the delta.

During this activity, you will visit the fishing spot and learn first hand about the fishermen’s work and witness the fish they catch using their centuries-old fishing techniques.
