MónNatura generates 100% of the electricity consumed from renewable sources

8.6MWh have been produced, while 8.5MWh have been consumed

Last year, MónNatura Delta installed photovoltaic panels on several buildings of the facility with the goal of making the center a net contributor, that is, generating more energy than it consumes.

In the period from January to June 24, 8.6MWh have been produced, while 8.5MWh have been consumed; therefore, the center has produced 100% of the electricity it has consumed.

The Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, which manages MónNatura, works in various fields, one of which is sustainability. Therefore, the major challenges our society faces, such as climate change or biodiversity loss, which threaten the well-being, especially of future generations, are addressed.
